STORY
The story of Sunshine Through the Willow Tree begins with a prophecy depicting ruins. As the result, the Demi-God of the Nor'tor Kingdom issues an arrest warrant for every scar bearer within its walls.
Liu Ge-Yi, a scarred Human warlord governing the Willow Territory, returns victorious from the conquest of the Pine Territory. Having defeated the Camphor Territory in recent years as well, his success both excites and worries the citizens of the Willow Territory.
Zhang Tai-Xi, a scarred Human blacksmith, lives a solitary life deep in the woods near Riverly, a lively town located on the edge of the Willow Territory.
His companion, Xiao-Hei, is an unfamiliar black blob who often receives unwelcome gazes.
The two enjoy tranquility and peace, yet appear to have something to hide.
When the two scarred men cross paths, the wheel of fate shall spin its course.
RACES
The world of Sunshine Through the Willow Tree consists of five races: Demi-God, Godling, Human, and two others that are unrevealed at the story’s beginning.
There are only five Demi-Gods in existence, each ruling over a Kingdom.
Godlings, the offsprings of Demi-Gods and Humans, are a prideful race that view themselves as superior to Humans. Territories are ruled by Godlings; it is extremely rare for a Human to be given the opportunity to govern one.
Human makes up the majority of the world.
